Stravinsky's Dominos
Feature Film, Drama / Dramedy

Logline
An unforgettable family, struggling to survive, in forgotten America.
Synopsis
In small-town Nebraska, blue-collar factory worker, Elgar Stravinsky, struggles to save his ailing marriage. He’s about to lose his job, his kids just seem to confuse him, and his increasingly troubled wife conceals her own complex problems. As Elgar clings to the past, and an America that no longer exists, he must find the courage to change—and a way to save his marriage.

As life spirals out-of-control for the Stravinskys—with mounting financial and personal pressures—Elgar leans heavily on his eldest and smartest daughter, Jane, to help untangle the family’s problems. And despite a few misguided attempts from Elgar, he and Jane somehow stumble upon an idea that could help them out of the deep hole they’re all in. They just need someone to fund it.

So when an opportunity arises to pitch their idea to Mike Grosberg—a wealthy Nebraskan businessman and investor—the family are ‘all in’ on their big pitch. But will it be enough? Or will this be the end of the line for Elgar, his marriage, his family, and their town?
